What this site collects when you send something, why, and how to have it deleted.

01

What I collect when you send something

When you send the AI Idea Check or the card at the bottom of each page, I receive what you typed and picked: your name, work email, company, an optional note, and your answers. When you start filling in a form, a Cloudflare Turnstile check runs to keep out bots.

02

Visit stats

When you read this site, I record the page, the site that sent you, any campaign tags in the link, the time you spent, how far you scrolled, and whether you are on a phone, tablet, or computer. Cloudflare, which runs this site, tells me your approximate location and the name of the network you are on, which is often an internet provider and sometimes a company. I keep a scrambled version of your IP address that changes every day, never the address itself. No cookies are set.

03

Cloudflare Web Analytics

I also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies.

04

LinkedIn Insight Tag

This site uses LinkedIn's Insight Tag, which shows me which companies and job roles visit, in groups, not who you are. LinkedIn itself may recognize you if you are signed in to LinkedIn. LinkedIn sets its own cookies for this and handles that data under its own privacy policy. In the EU, the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, and Canada, it loads only after you say OK. Elsewhere it loads by default, and you can turn it off for this browser under Your privacy choices below. It never loads when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track setting.

05

Your visit and what you send

If you send the AI Idea Check or the card, the pages you read in that visit are attached to what you sent. A random visit number is kept in your browser tab for this, and it ends when you close the tab.

06

Why

I use it to see what gets read, to understand which companies find this site, and to reply to you. I do not sell what you send me, and I do not add you to a mailing list. The LinkedIn tag described above shares visit data with LinkedIn for its own use, and you can turn it off under Your privacy choices. Cloudflare runs this site, its forms, and its stats for me, and delivers what you send to my email inbox. When you fill in a form, Cloudflare's Turnstile check also uses signals from your browser to improve its own bot detection.

07

Your privacy choices

In the EU, the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, and Canada, nothing runs until you say OK. Elsewhere, visit stats, Cloudflare Web Analytics, and the LinkedIn tag run by default, with no banner. Anywhere, the button below turns them off on this browser from here on. A Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track setting turns off Cloudflare Web Analytics and the LinkedIn tag. First-party visit stats, which set no cookies, still run unless you turn them off below. Your choice is saved in your browser.

08

How long

I keep visit records for up to 13 months.

09

Deleting it

To see or delete what you sent, email Chris@DoleConsul.com. I will delete it and tell you when it is done.
